Kichi has been open 10 years on busy Cameron Road, but this small, cozy restaurant has managed to stay off the radar. It specializes in “farmhouse cuisine,” mainly simple stir-fry dishes and stews that Japanese farmers make day-in, day-out. It’s no-bullshit, simple goodness. If you like comfort food try the beef, It was so soft and juicy that we kept wanting more. Kichi, of course, also serves the usual Japanese fare.
