Brunch Club
The Brunch Club is one of those places that takes itself quite literal. As the name suggests, this place serves brunch all day long. The interior is part café, part magazine shop and very cozy. It’s the kind of place that invites you in and asks you to make yourself at home. Their menu is lengthy but serves simple items such as pastas, salads and brunch staples such as eggs Benedict, eggs your way, pancakes, French toast and the likes. We breezed through the typical brunch items and ordered two sandwiches, a roasted chicken sandwich and a club. They came on a rosemary bun with thick onion slices on the side. As sandwiches goes, these were some of the freshest and tastiest ones we’ve had in SoHo. Our club sandwich arrived with the yolk of the egg soft and oozing over the seven-inch sub. The bacon tucked inside was perfectly cooked, ditto for the chicken breast. We washed it down with apple, carrot and ginger juice which arrived in a mason jar. And for those who can’t start their day without a little caffeine, they have a great list of coffees. This place is really cute and a must-try on lazy Sundays. But be sure to get in before everyone else wakes up or you’ll have to fight of a seat. And if you’ve got an extra sweater on, opt for a table outside under the canopy.
Best Bit: A great hangout on a lazy Sunday mornings with a plate of eggs. Keep the party under four though.
