This bright little eatery is perfect for those days when all you need is a big bowl of noodle soup steaming in your face. The rich broth and nourishing herbs Pho Lemon serves will fill your nose and is enough to clear any head cold. The reason being is that Pho Lemon uses a heavier hand with the spices in their soup base. You can taste lots of star anise and even cinnamon in their broth. That aside, it’s great. What’s not great is the prices - expect to pay a lot more for bowl of noodle soup than you would elsewhere. It too bad because your’re paying for real estate rather than a better quality meal. We had their shrimp paste on sugar cane, deep-friend goodness that’s difficult to get wrong, so when our deep-fried spring rolls arrived, soggy with oil, we were quite disappointed. Skip those and go for shrimp paste instead. The décor is a happy little place, poppy with bright cheery colors and Ikea furniture. The menu is oversized and filled with delicious-sounding goodies, but almost every table ordered Pho beef or chicken.
