Pure
Pure
July 3rd, 2009The buzz: With its cozy, low-rise sofas, dimmed wall lights and flickering candles, this place gives off a Henry House-like vibe, creating an easy, laid-back atmosphere.
The décor: Nothing wildly out of the ordinary but comfortable and stylish with large screen televisions showing all the latest music videos.
The drinks: A long day may warrant your favorite hard liquor on the rocks, but if you want something a little lighter, try one of Pure’s signature cocktails such as “Shadow,” which is a blend of vodka, lychee, lime, pineapple and blue Curacao or “Pure,” which is vodka, lychee, apple, mint and lime leaves.
The music: Early in the evening there’s slow, seductive jazz but when the party gets going, the hottest hip-hop remixes come blasting in.
The crowd: Don’t be surprised if you bump into your usually professional, strict and suited boss and find him loosening his tie and winding back the clock a few years.
Why you’ll be back: Whether it’s an intimate chat with a date or catching-up with friends, this is the place to be if you’re looking for comfort and fine cocktails.
